As the founder and CEO of Sear Growth Solutions, Dayna brings over 30 years of experience creating businesses, advancing high-profile projects and programs, crafting fundraising and development strategy, and leading financial reorganizations and turnarounds.

She specializes in public and private sector business start-up and turnaround as well as organization innovation and change management and has held executive positions as CEO, Executive Director, Vice President, Program/Project Director, CFO, Business Manager, Strategist, and Board of Directors in the arts, entertainment, education, philanthropy, investment, insurance, legislative advocacy, senior care, human service, and local government industries.
In her most recent role as Vice President of Consulting at The Hill Group, a boutique management consulting firm, she led major strategic, financial, fundraising, turnaround, and change management projects for medium to large nonprofit organizations as well as buy-side M&A business planning, analysis, and negotiation.
Utilizing her diverse experience and creative background, Dayna has pioneered many innovative cutting-edge programs, events, and service delivery platforms to stimulate economic development, expand reach, increase competitiveness, and deepen mission impact. She works with each client to develop creative solutions that uniquely solve even the most challenging problems.
Dayna is a Prosci Certified Change Management Practitioner. In this role, she strives to foster innovation that drives ongoing improvement and manage the resulting disruptive change required to implement bold visions. Her transformational outcomes are never simple out-of-the-box solutions and have resulted in her being honored for her legislative advocacy skills as a two-time nominee for the Ed Stout U.S. Congressional Award for Outstanding Victim Advocacy.
A tenacious prospector with the ability to identify and develop financial resources and enthusiastically convey a compelling vision and call to action to a wide range of stakeholders, Dayna has raised millions of dollars for a wide range of organizations. She works with organization to build consensus around ideas, envision innovative projects that meet diverse constituent needs, develop teams, and attract resources and the enthusiasm required to achieve objectives.
As a creative entrepreneur drawing on her roots in the arts, Dayna has been engaged to develop several pioneering organizations. WaterFire Sharon, developed in conjunction with the world-renowned artist Barnaby Evans and modeled after the acclaimed WaterFire Providence, and the Hope Center for Arts and Technology, a replication of McArthur Genius Award winner Bill Strickland’s National Center for Arts & Technology, a subsidiary company of Manchester Bidwell Corporation are two of several creative business ventures she has worked to establish.
Her nonprofit financial turnaround work has led to the development of a grant management and compliance software, MissionGranted launching to the public in late-2024. Also, having published several articles and research papers on workforce development and the arts, her experience resulted in the publication of a book entitled, Educating in the Creative Age: Implementing Arts Learning & the Creative Design Process. This book examines the knowledge base and creative skill sets required by the rapidly changing dynamics of our Creative Age and how these changes are impacting the development of employees across all sectors.
